Races

Tiefling, Devas, and Dragonborn

Mostly just random travelers within the vale.

Dwarf

Hammerfast is mostly made up of Dwarves, but there is also a large population in Fallcrest. Dwarves can also be found in the three other cities in smaller numbers.

Eladrin

Not native to the vale per se, but there is a crossover point to the Feywild somewhere within the borders of Harken Forest. Travelers can be found in the vale, but mostly in Harkenwold.

Elf

There is a large population in Harken Forest with the Woodsinger Clan. They have small populations in all of the cities of the vale.

Gnomes

Not native to the vale per se, but there is a crossover point to the Feywild somewhere within the borders of Harken Forest. Travelers can be found in the vale, but mostly in Harkenwold.

Goliath

There are several small tribes within the Dawnforge Mountains and Cairngorm Peaks near Winterhaven. It is rare to see Goliaths in most towns, but they do occasionally trade with Hammerfast and Winterhaven.

Half-Elf

There is a larger population in Harkenwold, but they have small populations in all of the cities of the vale.

Half-Orcs

The only real population is in Winterhaven. They can be found traveling all over the vale though. Sometimes assimilating into tribes of the other nomadic races.

Halfling

The town of Nenlast is mostly made up of Halflings. They also have a large population in Fallcrest. Elsewhere they can be found as travelers mostly.

Human

They make up large amounts of Winterhaven, Fallcrest and Harkenwold and have smaller populations in Nenlast and Hammerfast.

Shifters

There are several small tribes within the Moonhills and eastern Winterbole Forest. It is rare to see Shifters in towns other than Fallcrest and Nenlast. The forest tribes are known as Tigerclaw Barbarians.

Warforged

They are so rare in the world that they aren’t known to be a race. People would most likely classify a Warforged as a golem if they even knew what that was.
